Mary asks…

As soon as the NFL draft ended, what were the odds on the Cowboys being first to sign their #1 pick?

after that, they are now the first to have all picks signed also.

Eugene Parker being a Cowboys fan kind of helps us some - ha ha

admin answers:

Pretty high because they are one of the few teams to start training camp this early. I can think the other one is the bengals. Jerry jones would never let a crabtree situation happen.

Ken asks…

Why are the Eagles stockpiling 5th round picks in this year's NFL draft?

For some odd reason the Eagles keep trading down and not picking in the 3rd and 4th rounds. The Eagles just let L.J Smith go at TE. Yeah they got Celek but he's not a receiving TE. They need a big back and receiver. And they need some db help especially with Dawkins gone. What are the Eagles waiting for. They have 6 picks in round 5. Makes no sense.
agree blinkpar Maclin will definately help out. Donovan and Deshan for sure.

admin answers:

Yeah i totally agree with you here man, im a die hard eagles fan i think they are trying to use the "Patriot Mindset" by looking in the later rounds for sleeper picks, i honestly thought to address there big back problem with Knowshon Moreno but denver picked him up, but they could maybe get a TE in free agency and they got a safety from the Browns to replace Dawkins so maybe he will pan out, i personally think Jeremy Maclin will really help out
